Shoot At Sight is a film production company in Houston with numerous awards under its name. Our international award-winning feature film, Pinky Memsaab, had a successful run on Netflix. After reviving the film production scene in the UAE and Pakistan through our unique storytelling, we are now operating from Houston, Austin, and Dallas, serving all of Texas.
Even though UAE has been home to some big-budget Hollywood blockbusters, it doesn’t have a film industry of its own, whereas Pakistan’s movie production companies have been coming up fresh ideas in recent years. Shoot At Sight took the best of the two countries and helped both countries by producing the first UAE-Pakistan collaborated feature film, Pinky Memsaab, which garnered the Best Feature Film Audience Choice at UK Asian Film Festival. It has also performed phenomenally in cinemas across UAE and Pakistan and now can be watched on Netflix.
If you have taken care of the creatives and just need help with the production technicalities, we’re fully capable of providing the required line production services tailored for your project. We have till now done line production for two big-budget blockbusters, Chuppan Chupai and Sherdil, in the past 4 years. Producing a feature film calls for smooth collaboration among highly skilled team members. Turning a script into a great film calls for experts in every department, from writing to cinematography to special effects. From pre-production to post- production, Shoot At Sight can provide you all the filmmaking equipment and professionals as an independent film company in Houston. Our creative line producers have experience of working in both small and big-scale projects, and all of them have been huge hits.
Having been a friendly state for films for years, Texas offers a variety of tax incentives, grants, and other benefits to movie companies. The statewide filming grant has been significantly increased to $200 million, the highest in Texan history. Additionally, movie companies have been benefiting from the incentives offered by the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program (TMIIIP), including a base 5-20% incentive rate on in-state spending and more. This whole situation has been especially advantageous for film companies in Houston as the city is highly attractive for artists and in general, in addition to the fact that creatives can enjoy a low cost of living here.
